Short answer: on price alone, eSIM Égypte is not the cheapest. On 11 September 2026, Nomad was cheapest from 3 to 7 days, Airalo and Nomad at 10 days, and Airalo at 15 and 30 days. For a single day of unlimited data we are the cheapest, and we are the only one of the five whose page lists three Egyptian networks: Vodafone, Orange and e&. Nomad also gives more high-speed data per day than we do.
Every figure below was read on the same day from each provider's Egypt page, as a browser displays it. Prices change: the date is stated, and always check on the day you buy.
Unlimited plan prices, duration by duration
Prices checked on 11 September 2026. Prices listed in US dollars are converted at the ECB rate of 10 September ($1 = €0.8609). The cheapest in each row is in bold.

Two points to read this table fairly. First, Airalo, Nomad and Saily do not sell a one-day unlimited plan: for a stopover their alternative is a small gigabyte bundle (Airalo from $5.50, Nomad 1 GB for 7 days at $6, Saily 1 GB for 7 days at €7.99). Second, "unlimited" does not mean the same thing everywhere — that is the next section. Saily is not in the table: it sells unlimited plans from 10 to 30 days, but its per-duration prices only appear after a selection on its page, and we would rather not publish a figure we could not read with certainty.
What each "unlimited" actually means
- eSIM Égypte: about 1 GB a day at full 4G LTE speed, then 512 Kbps until the allowance resets 24 hours later. No total cap, no cut-off.
- Nomad: 2 GB a day at high speed, then 1 Mbps until it resets, according to the specification of its Egypt unlimited plans. That is more than our daily allowance.
- Holafly: unlimited data, with a fair usage policy the network may apply temporarily, "for no more than one (1) day", according to its FAQ.
- Airalo and Saily: their Egypt page does not spell out a usage rule for unlimited plans.
Wherever you buy, look for the sentence that says what happens after the daily allowance. It decides whether Maps still works at 10 pm.
Networks: where the difference is real
A travel eSIM owns no towers: it rides on one or more Egyptian operators. This is what each Egypt page lists:
- Airalo: Vodafone, shown as the primary network the eSIM uses
- Holafly: Orange
- Nomad: Orange and Vodafone
- Saily: no operator named
- eSIM Égypte: Vodafone Egypt, Orange Egypt and e& Egypt
No operator is best everywhere. If your eSIM can only use one network and that network is weak where you are standing — a felucca between two towns, a desert camp, a Sinai cove — you have no fallback. With three networks your phone can attach to whichever signal is strongest, automatically or by choosing it in settings. Our list comes from our supplier's catalogue, checked again on the day of this comparison. See the coverage.
Other things to compare
- Currency: our prices are in euros, like Saily's. Airalo and Nomad listed their Egypt plans in US dollars when we checked, so a euro card may pick up a currency conversion fee from your bank.
- Hotspot: included on every duration with us. Nomad and Saily allow it too; Holafly states 1 GB a day of shareable data.
- When the clock starts: ours starts on the first connection to an Egyptian network, so you can install the QR code at home without using up a day.
- Installation: with us, no app and no account — the QR code arrives by email.
Which one should you choose?
- Price first, 3 to 10 days: Nomad was cheapest on the day we checked (level with Airalo at 10 days).
- Price first, 15 or 30 days: Airalo.
- A single day of unlimited data: eSIM Égypte, at €6.50. If you will barely use data, Airalo's or Nomad's small gigabyte bundle costs a little less.
- You want an eSIM that can use Vodafone, Orange and e& — a Nile cruise, the desert, Sinai, or simply not depending on one network: eSIM Égypte.
