Short answer: on 1 October 2026, Holafly sold unlimited data for Egypt from €6.90 for one day to €90.50 for 30 days on its euro page. Its page lists one network, Orange, allows 1 GB of hotspot data per day, and lets you choose the number of days from 1 to 90. It is a real option, mainly if you need an unusual duration. It was not the cheapest: we were below it at every duration, and Airalo was below it from 3 days up.
Update, 13 October 2026. All seven sellers were read again on 13 October. Only Airalo had changed: its unlimited plans went from €26.00 to €26.50 for 5 days, from €32.00 to €32.50 for 10 days and from €82.50 to €83.00 for 30 days. The Airalo figures on this page are now those of 13 October; the other sellers' prices had not moved since they were last read.
Update, 8 October 2026. Holafly's euro prices were read again and had not changed. The Airalo column of the table now carries Airalo's prices of 8 October (7 days €29.50, 15 days €45.00, 30 days €82.50). Compared with us, Holafly costs 40 cents more for one day, 90 cents more from 3 to 15 days, and €4.50 more for 30 days. Airalo does not sell a single day of unlimited data.
Which network does Holafly use in Egypt?
Its Egypt page lists one: Orange. It also says the eSIM connects to 5G “where available”, as well as 4G and LTE, and that coverage is weaker in deserts and mountains. One network is fine in Cairo, Alexandria and the Red Sea resorts. It gives you no second option if Orange is weak where you are standing.
Hotspot, speed and what “unlimited” covers
- Hotspot: the page states 1 GB of shareable data per day, so a 7-day plan includes 7 GB of sharing.
- Speed: the page publishes no daily full-speed figure. Its FAQ says that “in rare cases” a fair usage policy applied by network operators can reduce your speed, “for no more than one (1) day”, and that the restriction resets the following day.
- Calls: data only, no Egyptian phone number. Calls go through apps such as WhatsApp.
- Start: the plan starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network; a one-day plan lasts 24 hours from that moment.
- Refunds: the page describes refunds for withdrawal, an incompatible or locked device, and connection issues, with conditions. Read its refund policy before you buy.
Two alternatives, and what each does differently
- eSIM Égypte (us): cheaper than Holafly at every duration, three networks (Vodafone, Orange and e&), hotspot included with no separate limit, no app and no account. Our limits: about 1 GB a day at full 4G LTE speed, then 512 Kbps until the next day, and only seven fixed durations. See our plans.
- Airalo: cheaper than Holafly from 3 to 30 days, and its unlimited Egypt plans state 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Its page lists one network, Vodafone, and sells no single day of unlimited data.

- Your trip does not fit 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 days and you want to pay for the exact number of days.
- You are staying more than 30 days and want one plan for the whole trip.
