Short answer: with eSIM Égypte there is no top-up — and you do not need one. Every plan already includes unlimited data for its whole duration, so there is no balance to run down and nothing to recharge.
If you searched for how to top up an Egyptian eSIM, you were probably expecting the prepaid model: buy a small bundle, watch it drain, buy more. Our plans do not work that way, so this guide explains what to do instead.
Why there is nothing to top up
- Data is unlimited on every plan. You cannot run out, so there is no add-on to buy.
- You choose a duration, not a volume. Plans run from 1 to 30 days.
- There is no account and no app. Your QR code arrives by email — there is nothing to log into.
What to do if you want to stay connected longer
Your plan covers a fixed number of days. If your trip runs longer, simply buy a new plan — it is the same two-minute purchase as the first one, and it works from Egypt exactly as it does from home.
- Open the plans page and pick the duration you still need.
- Pay by card. The QR code arrives by email within moments.
- Install the new eSIM profile and switch to it when the previous plan ends.
You can keep both profiles on the phone; most dual-SIM handsets allow several eSIMs installed with one active at a time.
Current plans
All plans include unlimited 4G LTE data on Egypt's local networks: 1 day €6.50, 3 days €18, 5 days €26, 7 days €33, 10 days €36, 15 days €46, 30 days €86.
Keep your number for calls and SMS
eSIM Égypte carries data only — it does not include an Egyptian number, calls or SMS. Keep your usual SIM active alongside it and you keep your own number for calls and texts, while the eSIM handles data. WhatsApp, Signal and Skype calls work over that data.
